During our Sunday service, we gather together in unity and compassion, joining our hearts in prayer for those who are struggling and in need of hope. It is in these moments of togetherness that we lift up the hurting, the afflicted, the marginalized, and all who carry burdens of pain.

Then, at the end of each month, we gather by zoom, and pray for those we have lifted up during the month of worship.  We also say prayers of thanksgiving for those who have healed and been strengthened through His grace and mercy.

We send an offer to you, to join us on our monthly call. We create a sanctuary of support and kindness, offering comfort through our words and presence, and in this community, our prayers become a source of strength and healing for all.  Our meeting is always held on the last Wednesday of each month at 4:00pm.  If you have an interest, please contact us through the link  here.

For Grace Church, our yearly participation in the St. Charles PrideFest is an important way of living out our covenant as an Opening and Affirming congregation. Specifically, that “No matter who you are, or where you are on life’s journey, you are welcome here.

Since 2015, Grace UCC has set up a booth at this diverse event, trying to show

potential new members the kind of welcoming and supportive Christians we are.

During that first PrideFest in 2015, the rain not only didn’t dampen the spirits of some 3,500 attendees, but it also created a double rainbow in the sky! Such an affirmation cannot be overstated; attendance at St. Charles PrideFest has continued to grow every year since. This year’s event will take place on Saturday, June 20 from 11am-5pm at the St. Charles Family Arena.

And here’s where our April Mission comes in. The donations collected during the month will help fund our outreach at PrideFest, including informational materials and handouts to people we hope may one day visit us for worship. And we know that when people do come to see what Grace Church is all about, they often end up staying. Now there’s a mission we can all take Pride in supporting!

Grace UCC has partnered with seven other area churches as volunteers at Mary Martha's Thrift Store in Wentzville.  Please join us if you have a few hours to share.  We staff the store three or four days a week, every eight weeks.  Please join us for this wonderful opportunity to help.   For details, please contact our office, send us an email or reach out over instagram or this website.

Please join Pastor Jim along with a group of members and friends at noon on the last Thursday of each month, for fellowship, conversation, Bible study, along with your brown bag lunch. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet new people and share in our faith.   We'd love to see you there!

Social Justice is defined as equal rights, opportunities and treatment for all, regardless of race, economic status, or identity. Social justice also calls for people to address inequities in political, social, and economic systems. The Church's view is to help those within marginalized communities, support our right to vote, do what we can to support climate change, healthcare and LGBTQ+ persons.  It's within this view that Grace UCC, as an open and affirming congregation, has formed a Social Justice team, following in the footsteps of the greater UCC church.

Our Grace UCC Social Justice Team keeps up-to-date with current events, networks within our community and attends events pertaining to our goals.   Our team meets monthly.  We meet on the last Sunday of the month following service.   Please join us.

Three times per year, we meet in our church parking lot and prepare to collect trash along a one mile stretch of road in front of Grace Church. The crew of ten people have gloves, trash bags, and brightly colored vests as we clean the areas around the road to beautify our community.  We also tidy the church property on these days.  Watch this space for the date and time of our next outing!  Please join us!
